Mum,
Being at the hospital this week with Matt brought back all the memories of you in hospital, especially those last
couple of weeks at Kingston before you
were transferred to the hospice in Crawley. You were so weak, you tried your hardest to eat, even though you were eating less and less. We tried eating with you to try and encourage you, but it just wasn't to be.
You were so happy when I got that dry
shampoo so I could do your hair for you.
I have never seen you look so pleased to
get your hair clean and brushed, when I
put it up for you, you kept putting your
hand on it and saying, that feels so much better, it was such a small thing but it meant such a lot to you, you were
a very proud lady and being clean was very important to you.
I would give anything to do your hair
for you again, I hope you got it cut, that was the only thing we weren't able
to get done for you.
You are always in my thoughts, Love You xxx xxx

Mum, do you remember when me and you used to do our night flyer trips by boat
to Guernsey and Jersey to do our christmas shopping. The crossing's were so rough and we used to feel pretty grotty at times but we would always get
around the shops, we must have been mad
but, we really enjoyed it didn't we? also our day trips to France to stock up
for christmas, we were hardened day trippers, we did have some laughs on those trips and you certainly enjoyed yourself, I will miss those days, I hope
this memory brough a smile to your face mum as you remember those days.
Love You Sweetheart xx xx xx

Hi There Mum,
Memories, they make us smile and sometimes they make us cry.
Your 70th birthday is getting nearer, it
is something we are looking forward to and dreading at the same time.
This is the only birthday that I will not have to keep on at you to tell me what you would like. I know that you would say "oh just get me another clock to go in my cabinet", I will get you a
clock mum and I will get a really special one and it will have pride of place in my cabinet this time, and hopefully you will be able to see it when you look down on us.
I hope you have a great birthday in heaven, we will definately be thinking of you.
God Bless You Mum, I Love You xxx xxx

Hi Nan,
I remember when you use to take me and matt to linda's house to walk her dog.
We always use to take it in turns to walk it to the park and back and then put it back in its backset.
Love you Nan.

I have so many memories of you, it is
difficult to put all of them down in words.
We had some really funny times, you always liked to have a good laugh, the
best laughs you gave us was when you had
a drink, you never were much of a drinker, and if there was a party you always had a couple to be sociable. Because you didn't drink it would affect
you really quickly and you would sit there all smiley and sleepy and you would try to get up and move and get all
giggly because you just couldn't do it.
You really used to amuse everyone and no
party or get together we have now will be the same without you.
Hope you have some good times in heaven
Sleep Tight xx xx xx xx

Looking through all the photo albums brings back so many memories.
The trips that me and you did together mum, we certainly visited a few countries didn't we.?
Where ever we went we always got asked where we come from because of your accent, we always used to laugh about that didn't we.
We always liked Amsterdam the best didn't we, you really loved that country, you really loved seeing the clogs being made and the cheese making factory at Volendam.
Mum maybe they will take you on some trips in heaven, i hope you enjoy them as much as you did the ones we went on.
Love you mum, a kiss from matt and a kiss from josh and from graham x

We have sat on many occasions and various thoughts have come flooding back but none more than that orange plastic car track you used to chase us all over the place with, in days gone it used to fill us with fear but since you have been gone it really lightens the mood and brings a few tears , they were the good old days mate and they will certainly be missed , we all love and miss you dearly , good night sleep tight and we will speak again soon .Kevin , Tina , Simon and katie xxx xxx xxx
